"Dbf" is a database browser,
with fast sorting functions.
"Dbf" is Shareware. Please 
read the terms and conditions
of use that are set out in
the enclosed documentation
(dbfeng.txt). 
There are three display modes
implemented:
 Index Display  (several records) 
 Record Display (one record)
 Field Display  (one field)
$After opening a file, you are in the)
&Index Display mode. From this mode you(
%can reach the Record Display mode, or
the Field Display mode.

 O  Opens an existing database
  Sort file 
 S  Sorts database file

  Labels on / off+
 B  Label on/off in Record display

 L  Switch between english and german

 X  Exit "Dbf"

 "Index-Positioning" on 1st letter,
    of first field (try it)

 "Index-Positioning" on 2nd letter,1
1.    of first field, no change on first letter.
